Bearsted Book Hunt

Bearsted Book Hunt 2022 has officially launched (Sunday 10th July 2022) and will be running all summer! This non-profit community project has been created to encourage children to read for pleasure and to be excited about books.

We have hidden hundreds of new book packs in the local area for children to find, read and re-hide. This wouldn't have been possible without generous donations from local business sponsors and hard working volunteers.

Enter our Facebook competition to be in with a chance of winning a £10 Book Bugs voucher, simply post up a picture with your book and let us know where you found it! Lets see how far these books can go :)

Please take only one book per child at a time. There are a range of fiction and non-fiction titles in circulation, suitable from age 3 right up to 11 years. A map is available on our Facebook page with hotspot areas to help you track one down. More books will be added randomly over the next few weeks.
